Lisa Kudrow has signed on to guest star opposite ex-Friend Courteney Cox. She will play a dermatologist that Jules can’t stop going to even though she is mean to her. Kudrow’s episode will shoot next month and air in early 2010.

Former WWE Superstar Steve “Stone Cold” Austin filmed a guest role for an episode this season. In the interview he did with the UK Sun, Austin noted he filmed an episode of the NBC comedy Chuck last week. Austin guest stars in episode 3×05, Chuck vs. First Class, playing Hugo Panzer, a master of close-quarters combat.

The show has finally cast a grandfather for David Boreanaz’s Seeley Booth. Hank Booth, a former army EMT, will be played by Ralph Waite, who played patriarch John Walton on The Waltons from 1972-81. Ralph, now 81, was cast after James Garner, also 81, proved too ill to take on the role.
