Friday Night Lights Lands Soap Star

August 27th, 2008 | 0 Comments

Friday Night Lights has cast ex-As the World Turns troublemaker Zach Roerig says Michael Ausiello. He will join the cast as Cash, a local rodeo star who lassoes Adrianne Palicki’s Tyra. Cash will appear just as Tyra’s romance with Landry is cooling off. Tyra has realized that, while she loves Landry, she kind of feels like he’s not really The Guy. So it becomes a story about are they going to be able to be friends, and will Landry be able to accept that?

Turner And Moffett Joining Friday Night Lights

Janine Turner and D.W. Moffett have been cast in the recurring roles of Katie and Joe McCoy says TV Guide. The McCoys move to Dillon from Dallas, with their teen son. The boy is a high school freshman with football skills who will be seen by many as the new Jason Street. That, as you can imagine, will put more pressure on Matt Saracen. Katie and Joe will be introduced in the first two episodes of the third season, which premieres October 1 on DirecTV. NBC will air the new episodes starting in late February/early March 2009.
