King of the Hill will finish its 13 season run on Fox with an hour-long finale. Fox executives had indicated last week during the Television Critics Association press tour that they would not air any more new episodes of the animated series. The finale is scheduled to air September 13 at 8:00 PM/ET. This leaves four new episodes that Fox is leaving in the can, with no plans of airing. 24 has found a new villian in Jürgen Prochnow. For 24’s eighth season, Prochnow will play Bazhaev, the ruthless head of an Eastern European organized crime syndicate.
“He’s essentially a Godfather,” says executive producer Howard Gordon, who teases that President Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin) could likely make a return in the new season. “He’s out there somewhere.”
Prochnow is best known as the submarine commander of 1981’s Das Boot as well as appearing in several other movies including Dune, Beverly Hills Cop II , Judge Dredd, Air Force One and The Da Vinci Code.
