In the fifth-season premiere, work resumes for Brennan, who’s back from a dig in Guatemala, and Booth, anxious to return to duty six weeks after his brain surgery, when Angela’s psychic (Cyndi Lauper) suggests there are bodies buried under a fountain in Washington, D.C.

This musical comedy-drama about the misfits who make up a high-school glee club opens its first season with the club’s first performance. It’s not what Will expects, and it gives his rival, cheerleader coach Sue Sylvester, added ammunition. But it is crowd-pleasing. Meanwhile, Finn’s cheerleader girlfriend, Quinn, is becoming jealous of Rachel; and Will’s wife, Terri, wants to buy a house, so Will has to scramble to earn more money.

Three actors have joined the show for its eighth season. Rami Malek will play Marcos, a would-be suicide bomber with sympathies toward radical Islam. Julian Morris will play a CTU SWAT agent. Hrach Titizian will play Nabeel, the second-in-command of security for President Hassan (Anil Kapoor). Titizian also appeared on 24 in 2007.

Fox has picked Jack and Dan, a pilot from Burn Notice creator/executive producer Matt Nix. The 13-episode hourlong series centers on Jack, an ambitious, by-the-book cop who is partnered with Dan, a drunken, lecherous, wild-card cop who hangs onto his job only because of a heroic act years before.
The new show will be a procedural featuring lead characters with a comedic bent. It’s an action comedy cop show that follows both the cops and the criminals and the ways they come together. The fun is seeing how they clash, and that doesn’t happen in the conventional procedural ways.

Michael Benjamin Washington has joined 100 Questions. The show stars Sophie Winkleman as Charlotte, who, looking for love, joins an online-dating site. Washington will play her dating counselor. Washing replaces Amir Talai, who played the dating counselor in the pilot.
