ABC Passes On Eli Stone, Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money

November 20th, 2008 | 0 Comments

Michael Ausiello is reporting that ABC has opted not to order additional episodes of Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money for this season. The network isn’t commenting, but sources confirm that all three shows have “effectively been canceled.” All three will complete production on their 13-episode orders (Pushing Daisies already has, while Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money have an episode or two to go). Completing the episodes is no guarantee that ABC will air the remaining episodes. “It’s all true,” Daisies creator Bryan Fuller said. “I’m so very proud of this show and grateful for everyone’s hard work in bringing it to life.”

Jamey Sheridan Finding Law And Order On Eli Stone

November 6th, 2008 | 0 Comments

Jamey Sheridan is finding justice on Eli Stone says TV Guide. Sheridan, who played Law & Order: Criminal Intent’s Captain Deakins for more than five seasons, is seeking his own sort of justice, playing a client of Eli Stone in this season’s 11th episode.

Sheridan will guest-star on the ABC show as a Dan Rather-type evening news anchor who is “banished” from primetime when his reporting starts raising the hackles of network advertisers. Eventually, the newsman is canned, though Eli must navigate around an incriminating email in which Sheridan’s character effectively quit, thus voiding his lucrative, multi-year contract.
