When Susan’s now-adult daughter (Andrea Bowen) returns to Wisteria Lane next month, she’ll be bringing along boyfriend Steven Weber. Michael Ausiello reports that Desperate Housewives has cast the Weber as Julie’s three times divorced college professor and lover, whose sudden appearance causes Susan some stress. Weber and Bowen are only on board for one episode thus far.

The 2008 Fall Season is upon us and that signals the return of Premiering Tonight. Welcome to Premiering Tonight, highlighting all the new and returning shows premiering on the Fall 2008 schedule.
Premiering tonight on TV are the season premiere of Fox’s Animation Domination block with new episodes of The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy and American Dad. CBS has season premieres of 60 Minutes, Cold Case and The Unit at its new time. ABC returns with a two hour premiere of Extreme Makeover: Home edition followed by new episodes of Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters. Showtime has season premieres of Dexter and Californication and HBO has the series premiere of Little Britian USA.

Desperate Housewives has cast Peter Onorati – Gail O’Grady’s former American Dreams co-star – to join the cast as the husband of her soon-to-be-introduced character, reports Michael Ausiello. Onorati, who played Dom in five episodes of American Dreams, is probably best known for his role as divorce attorney Charlie Howell in Steven Bochco’s early ’90s legal drama Civil Wars. He’ll appear on Desperate Housewives on a recurring basis.
