Peter Gallagher has been cast to co-star on USA Network’s pilot Covert Affairs. The show centers on Annie Walker (Piper Perabo), a multilingual CIA trainee who joins the agency while reeling over a mysterious ex-boyfriend who appears to be of particular interest to her bosses. Gallagher will play CIA director Arthur Campbell, a regal man and former Naval officer who loves a good fight, great scotch and a filthy joke.

Michael Benjamin Washington has joined 100 Questions. The show stars Sophie Winkleman as Charlotte, who, looking for love, joins an online-dating site. Washington will play her dating counselor. Washing replaces Amir Talai, who played the dating counselor in the pilot.

Zooey Deschanel is set to join sister Emily for a guest role this December. Zooey would play a relative of Brennan’s, possible a cousin in Minnesota who was referenced in the show two seasons ago.

Laurence Fishburne Making The Rounds On CSI: NY, Miami

Laurence Fishburne’s Professor Ray Langston will crossover to both CSI: Miami and CSI: NY during November sweeps reports TVGuideMagazine.com. The storyline will begin on Monday in Miami, continue on Wednesday in New York and wrap up the following day in Las Vegas. This is the first time a crossover will involve all three of the CBS hit procedurals. The last crossover occurred in 2005 with CSI: Miami and CSI: NY, but the episode did not involve any of the characters from the original CSI.

CSI: NY (CBS)
Skeet Ulrich has signed on for three episodes this season. Ulrich will play a complex and deeply disturbed killer. The arc will send the CSIs all over New York City on one of the wildest cases of their careers. The three episodes will begin airing October 7. The killer character harkens back to Ulrich’s role in Scream, the horror mystery that helped make him a star.

Adam Rodriguez Leaving CSI: Miami

TVGuideMagazine.com is reporting that when Adam Rodriguez returns to CSI: Miami this fall it will be for limited episodes. After the short run, he will then leave the show. Rodriguez may possibly return for a multiple episode arc, there is a possibility that he will only shoot the season premiere.

At the end of last season, Delko had been shot by Calleigh and was lying wounded somewhere in the Miami marsh with his team desperately searching for him. As previously reported, the first episode will be set in 1997, as a comatose Delko flashes back to his past and how the team first met. It’s in the flashbacks that we will meet new series regular Eddie Cibrian for the first time, and the episode will also guest star former regular Khandi Alexander.
