Nate Corddry (The Daily Show) has landed a guest role on the show. Corddry is playing Liz Lemon’s upstairs neighbor, Brian. The plot finds duplex-obsessed Liz scheming to get Brian to ditch his apartment so she can buy it and combine it with hers. Corddry will appear in the season’s sixth episode.

Showtime Orders A Fourth Season Of Californication

Showtime has renewed David Duchovny’s Californication for a fourth season. The third season premiered strong last week, hitting an all-time ratings high, prompting the network to order another 12 episodes. The show, which airs at 10:00 PM/ET on Sundays, stars David Duchovny as a sex addict trying to balance his family and job. The series is executive produced by creator Tom Kapinos, Duchovny and Gina Fattore.

The Simpsons – 8:00 PM/ET on Fox
Season 21 opens when Homer gets the lead in a movie about a superhero who can take on the powers of every superhero in any comic book he touches. To whip Homer into superhero shape, the studio hires a celebrity fitness trainer (voice of Seth Rogen). It won’t be an easy job.
