Marisa Coughlin has been tapped to guest-star in a midseason episode of Bones says TV Guide. Coughlin will play Payton Perotta, an FBI agent who is brought in to crack a case after Booth has to remove himself. As part of her already tricky task, Perotta will have to interrogate none other than Booth. Also appearing in the episode will be hockey great Luc Robitaille, playing himself.

Andy Richter has signed on to guest star in an upcoming episode of Bones says Michael Ausiello. The episode that takes viewers behind the scenes of the circus. The plot finds Booth and Brennan working undercover as a knife-throwing team named Buck and Wanda. Richter will play the circus’ owner-ringmaster. The episode is slated to air in January.

Brendan Fehr, who recently costarred on the ABC Family series Samurai Girl, is going to guest on Bones as Booth’s younger brother, Jared. Fehr is booked for two episodes, the first of which will air November 2, just as sweeps month kicks off. “It’s going to be a lot of fun and I’m really looking forward to it,” Fehr wrote on his official web site. “The character is great and well-written . . . . He’s got a lot of stuff to work with on the screen and with a great back story.”
