Jordan Bridges is joining NBC’s new series, Bionic Woman. Bridges will play Tom, an unassuming teacher’s assistant at a prestigious university who also works for the CIA and is a potential love interest for Jamie Sommers (Michelle Ryan). Bridges previously co-starred on NBC’s Conviction.

Friday Night Lights executive producer Jason Katims has agreed to help out on NBC’s highly anticipated reimagining of The Bionic Woman as a consultant. The move comes less than a week after the abrupt exit of showrunner Glen Morgan, apparently over creative differences. Katims will split his time between The Bionic Woman and Friday Night Lights.

Bruce McGill has joined NBC’s new drama Bionic Woman as a recurring, says The Hollywood Reporter. On Bionic Woman, from Universal Media Studios, McGill will play a high-ranking operative who overseas the bionics project.
