Sutherland Drops Hints About The 24 Movie
By Editor on May 5th, 2006Kiefer Sutherland has revealed some news to a few British sources as to how Fox’s “24” movie will differ from the TV show.
According to the BBC’s website, Sutherland told London talk show host Jonathan Ross that the “24” movie he hopes to shoot next year will be set “here,” which could mean London, the United Kingdom or Europe.
A report from The Sun backs up Sutherland’s claim, saying that the “24” movie will be shot in London, Prague and Moracco. This indicates that the movie will drop the TV show’s “real time” format.
Previous reports around the internet have said that the “real time” format will be worked into the film in other ways. One example I’ve heard was that the movie would be broken up into “real time” chunks of minutes with the time in between these chunks used to travel to different locations. It will be interesting to see how they carry the “real time” theme into the movie.
