Supernatural Casts Jake Abel As Third Winchester Brother

TV Guide is reporting that Jake Abel (Threshold) is has been cast as the third Winchester brother and The CW’s Supernatural. Abel will play Adam Milligan, an 18-year-old whom Sam and Dean meet in an episode titled Jump the Shark and airing April 23.

Adam, viewers will learn, is the by-product of an affiar John had during one of his demon hunts. Upon eventually being told by his onetime lover of Adam’s paternity, John paid the boy the occasional visit. Never, though, did John alert Sam and Dean to Adam’s existence, nor vice versa.
