Sunday night is here with new episodes of Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, Family Guy, American Dad, The Sopranos as well as the 100th episode and season Finale of Crossing Jordan.

Crossing Jordan – 10 pm/ET, NBC (Season Finale)

Celebrating one’s 100th birthday is no small feat. Tonight the series reaches that milestone with its centennial episode, which also marks the end of its fifth season. In this hour, she discovers who her friends and enemies are when she wakes up to a nightmare. She’s accused of killing her on-again, off-again boyfriend, J.D., and worse yet, she has no recollection of the previous night’s events. But one thing’s for sure: She’s determined to clear her name — or die trying.

Grey’s Anatomy – 10 pm/ET, ABC

Poor Derek. Seeing Meredith with vet Finn Dandridge, messed him up so much he had to go home and have sex with his wife! The original McDreamy still isn’t over the Meredith-Finn thing tonight. And Izzie is bummed out not only by the George-Callie thing but by her Denny thing, too. And having Bailey all over her for “crossing the line” with a patient isn’t helping. Nor, of course, is the state of Denny’s heart. One can only wonder if he’ll make it beyond the two-hour season finale a week from tomorrow.

Desperate Housewives – 9 pm/ET, ABC

It’s back to the drawing board for the Solises tonight, but maybe Xiao-Mei will prove to be good for more than cooking and cleaning. Speaking of housework, that’s what seems to be in store for Tom Scavo — that is, if his marriage can stand the strain of his ludicrously unjust dismissal. Meanwhile, don’t look for Susan to have a good night now that Edie’s PI is on her trail, and expect more cunning snottiness from Andrew Van De Kamp. And isn’t it nice to see the Applewhites again? Even if they’re leaving Wisteria Lane? And even though Betty’s plotting to do in poor Caleb?

The Sopranos – 9 pm/ET, HBO

Christopher makes a surprise announcement; Paulie pays a price for cutting costs at an Italian Street Fair; Tony embraces the “old school.” As the old saying goes, “there’s no such thing as bad publicity” — unless you happen to be in organized crime. In that case, “no news is good news” is probably a better slogan, but it looks like Paulie Walnuts is attracting the wrong kind of attention at an Italian street fair. As for Vito, if Tony really doesn’t want him dead, maybe he should just put A.J. on it. That poor kid, if you’ll permit me one more bromide, could screw up a two-car funeral. After tonight, only three more episodes until 2007!

Family Guy – 9 pm/ET, FOX

It isn’t Halloween, but ghosts come calling on the Griffins tonight. And they’re in an ornery mood after Peter desecrates (and we mean desecrates) a Native-American skull he found while building a multiplex theater in his backyard. (It seems that Peter’s trying to one-up Joe, who has a home theater.) Carrot Top and JM J. Bullock have voice cameos as themselves, and Adam Carolla plays the voice of Death.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent – 9 pm/ET, NBC

Whoopi Goldberg plays a foster mother with questionable scruples who gets on the wrong side of Logan as he and Barek seek some of her former charges for their involvement in a series of machete murders.

American Dad – 9:30 pm/ET, FOX

Steve loses interest in his activities with Stan, who quickly dumps him for Barry, a kid who appreciates him. But Barry’s very different when he’s not taking his “vitamins.” Meanwhile, Roger’s beer-swilling skills come in handy when he wants to join a fraternity at Hayley’s college.
