Summer Glau Moving Into Fox’s Dollhouse

Summer Glau is joining Joss Whedon in the Dollhouse this fall. Glau, who starred in Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will appear in at least two episodes from episode 5, airing in October. She will play a character named Bennett who has a history with Eliza Dushku’s Echo and who has an apparent connection to another, as yet unknown Dollhouse character. Bennett might be from another Dollhouse.

In addition to Glau, Whedon has lined up other familiar faces to visit the show the second season including: Jamie Bamber is a charismatic businessman who’s Echo’s new husband. Michael Hogan comes to Dollhouse hoping to stop a psychotic family member’s killing spree. Alexis Denisof is a U.S. senator leading a witch hunt to track down the underground organization. Keith Carradine is a nemesis of Dollhouse leader Adelle.

Glau previously worked with Joss Whedon on”Firefly. Whedon expressed interest in Glau joining the show back at Comic Con. Dollhouse season 2 kicks off on Fox Friday September 25.
