The 2009 Fall Season is upon us and that signals the return of Premiering Tonight. Welcome to Premiering Tonight, highlighting all the new and returning shows premiering on the Fall 2009 schedule.

Premiering tonight on TV are the season premieres of NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Forgotten and The Good Wife.

NCIS – 8:00 PM/ET on CBS
The seventh season opens with the team still dealing with the loss of Ziva, and Tony and McGee being charged by Gibbs with the task of finding her replacement.

NCIS: Los Angeles – 9:00 PM/ET on CBS
In the opener of the NCIS spin-off following the undercover agents of the NCIS Office of Special Projects, working from a Spanish mission headquarters in Los Angeles, agent G. Callen (Chris O’Donnell) returns to work four months after being shot and joins the team on a kidnapping case.

The Forgotten – 10:00 PM/ET on ABC
This crime-drama series follows the Forgotten Network, volunteers who try to identify the victims of unsolved murders. In the opener, the remains of a woman are found in a wooded area.

The Good Wife – 10:00 PM/ET on CBS
In the series premiere, Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies), a politician’s wife, resumes her career as a defense attorney after her husband is jailed for corruption. Her first case is the retrial of a woman accused of murdering her spouse. The first trial ended with the jury deadlocked. Alicia is told by her new boss to stick with the firm’s original strategy, but she decides not to do so when more evidence surfaces.
