The 2009 Fall Season is upon us and that signals the return of Premiering Tonight. Welcome to Premiering Tonight, highlighting all the new and returning shows premiering on the Fall 2009 schedule.

Premiering tonight on TV are the season premieres of Lincoln Heights, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl and Jay Leno.

Lincoln Heights – 8:00 PM/ET on ABC Family
In the fourth-season opener, the Suttons decide whether to move in the wake of the earthquake. Eddie gets worried when Charles and Cassie are questioned by police about Mac’s death, and Tay is taken to the hospital.

One Tree Hill – 8:00 PM/ET on The CW
In the seventh-season opener, Nathan faces a career-threatening accusation with the help of his new sports agent (Robert Buckley). Meanwhile, Haley’s sister Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) pays an unexpected visit, and Brooke prepares a new fashion line as Julian plans to produce a huge film.

Gossip Girl – 9:00 PM/ET on The CW
In the third-season opener, Serena returns from Europe with Carter while Nate returns from abroad with a mysterious woman (JoAnna Garcia). Elsewhere, Blair and Chuck adjust to their new relationship in a nontraditional way, and the Humphreys are surprised at how easily they adapted to the Hamptons lifestyle.

The Jay Leno Show – 10:00 PM/ET on NBC
Jerry Seinfeld is Leno’s first guest in the premiere of this comedic entertainment show. Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna perform. Also: “Headlines.”
