Justin Theroux is joining the show in a major recurring role. Theroux has been cast as a friend of Ann’s (Rashida Jones) and a potential love interest for Leslie (Amy Poehler). His first episode is scheduled to air in January 2010.
In that same episode, Amy Poehler’s husband, the hilarious Will Arnett, is coming to Parks and Recreation this season. He will play an MRI Tech, which means that either someone is headed for the hospital, or he will have scenes with Ann who works there as a nurse. Arnet will scheduled to appear in one episode.

The DNA of Diggs’ character, Greg, determines him to be the one for Linda. Ted meanwhile is led to dip his toe back into the office dating pool with guest star Virginia Williams.
