NBC Lands Trio For LAPD Pilot

Regina King, Kevin Alejandro and Michael McGrady have been cast in NBC’s pilot LAPD. King will play Lydia, a smart, sympathetic detective in the Hollywood division. Alejandro will play Nate, a detective who is happily married with three kids and another on the way. McGrady will play Sal, a detective who works mainly on gang-related crimes and is obsessed with his family’s safety. Benjamin McKenzie is in early talks to join the show, an ensemble drama that follows a group of police officers in Los Angeles.
