NBC Getting Ready For The Great American Road Trip

NBC is set to order a new series that combines the family road trip with a reality competition. On Great American Road Trip, seven families will drive cross-country to such popular destinations as the Grand Canyon and the Washington Monument. Contestants will compete in challenges against the iconic backdrops that will eliminate one family at time. NBC plans eight one-hour episodes that will premiere in the summer alongside other returning reality shows like America’s Got Talent. The show is produced by BBC Worldwide.
