Melissa George is in final negotiations to join the cast of Grey’s Anatomy as an intern with an open mind toward sexuality says Michael Ausiello. She’s being groomed as a potential love interest for either, Callie or Erica. George was initially going to be introduced as a patient, but Shonda Rhimes was so enamored with the star that she changed the role to give it more long-term potential.
