King Of The Hill Finale To Air On Fox September 13
August 11th, 2009 | 0 Comments | Email | Share | TweetKing of the Hill will finish its 13 season run on Fox with an hour-long finale. Fox executives had indicated last week during the Television Critics Association press tour that they would not air any more new episodes of the animated series. The finale is scheduled to air September 13 at 8:00 PM/ET. This leaves four new episodes that Fox is leaving in the can, with no plans of airing. Hopefully, they will start releasing the remaining seasons on DVD.
The animated sitcom’s conclusion is technically two back-to-back episodes. In the first hour, The Boy Can’t Help It, Bobby is on the prowl for a date to the homecoming dance. He is being teased by girls in his class who pretend to be interested in inviting him as a date for the Homecoming dance.
The second episode, titled The Honeymooners, finds Hank’s mother marrying a man she has recently met. Soon after, the newlyweds celebrate by purchasing an RV and heading to Hank’s. When Hank’s mom and new stepfather have a heated argument, she takes off with the RV and Hank is left to rescue his mother once again.
King of the Hill was created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, who are executive producers along with John Altschuler, Dave Krinsky, Jim Dauterive, Garland Testa, Howard Klein and Michael Rotenberg.
