Jason Katims Producing Dorothy Gale For NBC

Jason Katims is overseeing another drama in development at NBC, this time a modern-day take on The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy Gale comes from Friday Night Lights writer Bridget Carpenter, who’s executive producing; Katims will serve as a nonwriting executive producer with Meryl Poster. The script follows the story of Dorothy, a girl from Kansas who tries to tackle modern-day Manhattan (her version of the Emerald City). Dorothy finds a job in the art world and must deal with a wicked boss.
