Jamey Sheridan is finding justice on Eli Stone says TV Guide. Sheridan, who played Law & Order: Criminal Intent’s Captain Deakins for more than five seasons, is seeking his own sort of justice, playing a client of Eli Stone in this season’s 11th episode.

Sheridan will guest-star on the ABC show as a Dan Rather-type evening news anchor who is “banished” from primetime when his reporting starts raising the hackles of network advertisers. Eventually, the newsman is canned, though Eli must navigate around an incriminating email in which Sheridan’s character effectively quit, thus voiding his lucrative, multi-year contract.
