Goran Visnjic Leaving The ER This Season

Warner Brothers is attempting to broker a Noah Wyle-type deal with Visnjic that would bring Dr. Kovac back for five or six episodes next season – likely the show’s last. That would give producers enough time to script an appropriate ending to the Kovac/Abby love story, since Maura Tierney is most likely returning.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I don’t think anyone else can carry that show. The ER has lost too many key players. But don’t be too upset, NBC is looking to sign Visnjic to a deal similar to what they did with Noah Wiley last season and have him appear in a few episodes next season . . . which could very likely be ER’s last.

I think ER has had a great run, now is a great time to end it. Abby, Luka and baby joe should go to Croatia. Neela and Gates should get together, Sam should go on a vacation with her son, Morris should go to Venezuela in search of Hope and Pratt should go back to Africa to help out people in Darfur. Moretti should just go back from where ever he came from.

I love ER. I’ve watched it from the time it started until now. I’ve never missed an episode. So I’ll be kind of sad if it ended. But it’s going to have to one day. I’d feel alot better if it could end with the entire cast. I mean from day one until the present- go out with a bang. Dr. Greene can make some kind of appearance. (they’d have to get really creative with that one though) But yeah. That’ll be great.
omg … imagine Elizabeth waking up, Dr. Greene coming out of the shower … to find Elizabeth shaking up a snowglobe ;) how is that for an ending to bring back dr. greene. hehehe
I’ve only missed 1 episode since day 1 – been then since Clooney & Edwards. I thought I’d never get over loosing Dr. Greene; then we lost Carter. I braced myself for the rest, but, after buckets of tears, I still feel like I’m loosing family
