Gloria Reuben Returning To The ER

Noah Wyle, who plays the rich doctor John Carter, is signed up for at least four episodes, and now TV Guide is reporting that Gloria Reuben, who played the HIV-positive physician’s assistant Jeannie Boulet, has also signed on. Reuben, who left in 1999 when she found her storyline too depressing, returns to the ER on January 10, when she needs treatment for her HIV-infected son. She initially clashes with the staff over her child’s care, but eventually allows Dr. Greg Pratt to help her through the difficult time.
