FX Renews Rescue Me For A Fourth Season

One week after landing an Emmy nom for star-exec producer Denis Leary, the cabler has greenlit production on a fourth cycle of the firefighter drama, which remains among the top 10 basic cable shows in the 18-49 demo. FX announced the 13-episode pickup for the Sony Pictures Television-produced skein Wednesday during its portion of the Television Critics Assn. summer press tour.
Network president-general manager John Landgraf called the series a “key part of one of FX’s stated goals, which is to foster some of the best episodic series on television.”
Early renewal for Rescue Me – halfway through the current season – keeps FX’s three core drama franchises on the air for at least one more season. Cabler ordered up a seventh and final season of The Shield last month and will roll out a fourth season of Nip/Tuck in early 2007.
Leary, Peter Tolan and Jim Serpico will continue to exec produce Rescue Me. All cast members are aboard to return. Season three’s finale airs August 29.

when does the new Rescue me season come on?
Not entirely sure right now, traditionally Rescue Me follows The Shield, so I would say Summer 2007. I of course will post more information as I get it.
i would like to know when the new series of Resuce Me will start for 2007?
The show is tentatively slated to return in June.

I really like the show nip/tuck i hope the 2007 season is not the last one can you please tell me if there is going to be more nip/tuck show’s in the future? I would also like to know when might the 2007 season will start? Thank You Gail
