Fox Picks Up Lie To Me For Full Second Season

Lie To Me Showrunner Shawn Ryan tweeted that Fox has picked up the back 9 episodes of the hit drama giving it a full second season order. This weeks episode, Secret Santa, scored 7.3 million viewers, third behind Dancing With The Stars and Two and a Half Men for the 9:00 PM/ET time slot.

Lie To Me is inspired by the scientific discoveries of Dr. Paul Ekman, a real-life psychologist who can read clues embedded in the human face, body and voice to expose the truth and lies in criminal investigations. Tim Roth plays Dr. Call Lightman, the world’s leading deception expert. Lightman heads a team of experts at The Lightman Group who assist federal law enforcement, government agencies and local police with their most difficult cases. Dr. Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams) is a gifted psychologist and Lightman’s professional partner who brings balance to the partnership by looking at the bigger picture while Lightman focuses on the details.
