Fox Orders Prison Break Spin-Off Cherry Hill

Fox has ordered a script for a Prison Break spin-off called Prison Break: Cherry Hill. The script is being written by Prison Break executive producers Matt Olmstead and Zac Estrin. The new show would focus on Molly, an as-yet-uncast character to be introduced this season on the show.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Molly is an upper-middle-class wife. After suffering a family tragedy at the hands of the Company – the government conspiracy that framed Michael (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) and put them behind bars – she seeks them out for help at the Panamanian prison Sona in her quest to exact vengeance. Molly goes to a women’s detention facility fully accepting the life sentence for her acts of revenge until she is contacted by the government with information that some of her loved ones are alive. She then starts planning her escape.

If Cherry Hill does not gain any traction, Molly would continue on as a Prison Break character, perhaps as a love interest for Michael.
