DirecTV 101 Gets HBO’s Deadwood And Oz

The pickup represents the first time either show has been run on TV outside of HBO. DirecTV will begin airing both shows on Sunday nights staring May 31. Deadwood and Oz also will be offered thruogh DirecTV’s on-demand service.
The deal includes all 36 episodes of Deadwood, which will run at 9 pm, and 56 segs of Oz, which will follow at 10 pm Shows will run unedited, without commercials and in high definition.
The 101 Network, best known for striking a deal with NBC Universal to keep critical darling Friday Night Lights alive, also has made a name for itself in recent months by bringing back old episodes of short-lived series like Wonderland, The Nine and Smith. The network recently aired Showtime’s limited series Sleeper Cell.

Does anyone know if DirecTV picked up any unreleased episodes of Deadwood?
