Dajani, Schmidt And Collins Join Bertinelli Pilot

Nadia Dajani, Kevin G. Schmidt and Dean Collins have joined the cast of TBS’ untitled Dave Caplan comedy pilot starring Valerie Bertinelli says The Hollywood Reporter. The project, from Sony Pictures Television, centers on newly separated Claire (Bertinelli), who is raising two teens – insecure, quick-witted Daniel (Schmidt) and cute, status-conscious Kelsey – while running a lumber business. Dajani plays Lisa, Claire’s next-door neighbor and best friend who works as a magazine photojournalist. Collins plays Hunter, Daniel’s mischievous, girl-crazy best friend. Anjelah Johnson also was previously cast in the project.
