July 2nd, 2009 | 0 Comments | Email | Share | TweetChristian Slater is in negotiations to star in the new ABC series The Forgotten says The Hollywood Reporter. The mystery drama revolves around a group of amateur detectives led by a former cop (Slater) whose 11-year-old daughter was kidnapped three years earlier. Slater would replace British actor Rupert Penry-Jones, who played the lead in the pilot. Another role, that of a female member of the sleuth squad, also is being recast.
The Forgotten will air at 10:00 PM/ET Tuesdays and is scheduled to bow September 22. It would mark Slater’s second turn as a TV leading man after last year’s short-lived NBC spy drama My Own Worst Enemy.
