Betty tries to nip a potential public-relations catastrophe in the bud by halting the distribution of a new issue of Mode, but it’s made difficult by the fact that Daniel is incommunicado at a company retreat. Hilda’s salon permit is rejected by the city, and Connor’s fiancĂ©e meets the magazine’s staff.
Kitchen Nightmares (Fox)
Chef Ramsay visits Sabatiello’s, an Italian restaurant in Stamford, Conn., with a hot-tempered owner and poor customer service. After his staff turns against him and Ramsay offers criticism, the owner gets so angry he shuts the place down himself.
My Name Is Earl (NBC)
Earl reflects on his first wedding anniversary with Joy, but there’s no joy when his well-favored, attractive cousin (Jason Priestley) arrives, making Earl feel inadequate. And there’s buzz in Camden County when killer bees swoop down on the region, trapping some of the gang in a phone booth.
Smallville (The CW)
Brainiac slowly takes over Chloe’s mind until the only person she remembers is Davis. In an effort to save her, Clark rebuilds the Fortress of Solitude in order to seek help from Jor-El.

Kath takes offense to the way Phil’s best friend (Fred Goss) treats him but isn’t sure if she should intervene. Elsewhere, Craig takes a stand against Kim’s constant requests to prove to his friend (Jay Phillips) that he’s not whipped.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
Meredith’s old friend Sadie (Melissa George) becomes an intern at Seattle Grace, but Meredith’s other friends aren’t exactly welcoming; new surgeon Virginia Dixon (Mary McDonnell) brings rules and order to the OR; and Lexie leads the interns in secretive, unorthodox surgical-training sessions.
CSI (CBS)
A man and a woman are gunned down gangster style in Koreatown but none of the witnesses will talk to the police. The investigation reveals an Asian gang is likely behind the murders and that a boy, who is now missing and is part of a clinical trial, may be the key to the crimes.
Kitchen Nightmares (Fox)
Chef Ramsay visits Fiesta Sunrise, a Mexican restaurant in West Nyack, N.Y., and meets a stubborn owner who is ruining the business. After an inspection, Ramsay declares the place unsanitary and shuts it down before even discussing how to fix things.
The Office (NBC)
Dunder-Mifflin bigwig David Wallace (Andy Buckley) sends Michael on a business excursion to Canada with Andy and Oscar, who form an unlikely bond. Meanwhile, Jim eagerly anticipates Pam’s return from art school.
Supernatural (The CW)
Sam and Dean search for a young woman who can hear conversations between angels after Ruby tells them a powerful demon is on the prowl to find her.

Liz and Jenna receive a visit from their pal (Jennifer Aniston), a romantic prowler who sets her sights on landing Jack. Meanwhile, new page uniforms depress Kenneth, so Tracy tries to raise his spirits with a surprise involving the Night Court cast members Harry Anderson, Markie Post and Charlie Robinson.

A hostage crisis at County Hospital finds Sam, Ray, Annie and Lt. Hunt in a gunman’s crosshairs while he tries to force a doctor to reverse a dangerous operation on the hostage taker’s brother. Meanwhile, Sam is troubled by a phone call in which he seems to hear his mother’s voice in 2008 begging him to wake up.
Eleventh Hour (CBS)
Hood investigates when a woman’s frozen body is discovered on a hot beach and it shows no signs of thawing.
ER (NBC)
Dr. Greene (Anthony Edwards) returns in flashbacks as Banfield recalls his heroics in caring for her son years earlier. The memories are triggered by a 3-year-old girl whom Banfield tries to rescue from drowning. Meanwhile, Gates tries to use his influence to help a homeless veteran, and the interns struggle with their ER responsibilities.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX)
The gang give an extreme home makeover to an ill-fated family, and they hope to receive good karma in return so that their own dreams will come true.
LA Ink (TLC)
The smokers of the shop visit a hypnotist, hoping it will help them kick their habit.
