CBS has greenlit The Amazing Race for a 13th season. The series’ 12th edition is currently airing. CBS planned to air the 12th cycle of the Race next year, but when Viva Laughlin failed, the network opted to sub in the reality race last month. It did well drawing its best premiere ratings since 2005. The show has averaged 12 million viewers in its Sundays at 8 timeslot.
