CBS Cancels Jericho, Close To Home And The Class

The struggling drama Close to Home and the sitcom The Class have also been dropped, meanwhile Rules of Engagement lives on. How I Met Your Mother will see a third season. Previous pickups include The Unit, Numbers, Ghost Whisperer, all three CSIs, NCIS and Shark.

I love Jericho and Close To Home. I can’t beleive you took it off the air. Everytime my husband and i get into a show you go and take it off the air. Stop doing it keep a show on that people like and get into. Figure a way out to make it interesting since you came up with the show I am sure you could find ways to keep the show around longer then one season.
Why would you take off Close To Home. That was a great show. I was looking forward to it coming back. Please, Please put it back on. That was one of my favorites.

CLOSE TO HOME was one of the best shows CBS had going. I looked forward to Friday nights for that reason. I cannot believe it has been cancelled. Please give consideration to bringing it back. Jennifer and cast were great as well as the writing and directing! I watched for two seasons and enjoyed every episodes.

Why would CBS take off Cloae to Home? I am not a fan of TV but there were 2 shows my wife and I loved to watch and they were Shark and Close to Home. I can not believe they took that show off the air.
I can’t believe that Close to Home is cancelled! I really looked forward to this weekly drama. I’m sure there were a lot of other shows not doing as well that weren’t pulled off the air. I’m really disappointed
After waiting impatiently for its return, I just found out today that Close To Home has been canceled. What a huge disappointment. With so many silly, shallow shows currently on TV, why did this quality drama get the axe? It had wonderful, believable characters and well written, pertinent stories. It will be sorely missed. i can’t believe you cancelled close to home. you ended last season the way you did and i thought for sure you would continue the show. you have really turned me off CBS. that was such a great show. i’m disgusted.
why did you cancel close to home? yes the last episode was a disappointment with the death of annabeth’s college but i was still looking forward to it’s return!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just learned that Close to Home has been cancelled. This was the ONLY reason that I tuned in to CBS. Great…you have “officically” gone back to being my Grandparent’s network. Learn what quality programming means or pull the plug all together. Your network sucks!
I just decided to look up “Close to Home” because we have been waiting for its return. My husband and I are extremely disappointed that you have cancelled this show. We get so sick of all the mindless trash of sitcoms and thought Close to Home was finally some quality on a par with Law and Order where the cast and coworkers on the show are not always humping each other in the linen closet. Shame on you for taking it off the air. Some people enjoy natural, sympathetic people and not everyone wants to watch face sucking, foul language and innuendos throughout a program.
Why in the world did you cancel Close to Home? It’s the best family show on the air. I don’t even want to watch CBS anymore. I looked forward to that show eaxh week. When you killed off the other Asst. DA, that was a bomb of a decicion also.
Also, Shark was another show I looked forward to watching. You’ve cancelled the two best shows CBS has. The shows I watched are gone from CBS and so am I.
I too had been waiting for Close to Home to come back. I agree with all the other comments that it was one of the better shows on tv and am very disappointed that it is off. I enjoyed the storyline as well as the actors. Is there any chance that it might be resurrected?
I just started watching this series when you brought David James Elliot into the series. Hoping you will change your mind, as this series will be missed.
I just found out today that Close to Home had been cancelled. That was definitely one of my favorite shows. I hope there is a way for it to come back!!
