CBS Announces Winter/Spring 2009 Schedule
December 2nd, 2008 | 0 Comments | Email | Share | TweetCBS has announced the Winter/Spring 2009 schedule that features its new mystery series Harper’s Island premiering after CSI. The 13-episode Harper’s Island, a Ten Little Indians-style thriller where a group of wedding guests are killed off one by one, will step in for Eleventh Hour on Thursdays at 10 p.m. starting April 9 and will run into mid-summer.
The network also scheduled the return of Flashpoint to Friday nights. The crime drama held up impressively last summer for the network and returns January 9, at 9 pm, filling the spot vacated by this fall by The Ex-List. The network has been seeking a strong drama to bridge the gap between Ghost Whisperer and Numbers and hopes Flashpoint will deliver.
In addition, CBS will air Ashton Kutcher’s new series Game Show in My Head on Saturday nights starting January 3. The hidden camera show is hosted by Joe Rogan, with contestants performing five outrageous and embarrassing tasks for a chance to win up to $50,000.
The 18th edition of Survivor premieres Thursday, February 12 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) while The Amazing Race returns with its 14th edition on Sunday, February 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).
