Busy Philipps Leaving The ER This Season

TV Guide is reporting that Busy Philipps is leaving ER for How I Met Your Mother. This season’s second episode of ER may very well be the last we see of Philipps when her character Hope leaves for South America to fulfill her Christian mission. “But the door is not closed for a return,” NBC sources said. “She greatly enjoyed her character and we enjoyed her. She’s a lot of fun.”
