Brittany Robertson Leads The CW’s Light Years
December 16th, 2008 | 0 Comments | Email | Share | TweetBrittany Robertson has landed the lead in the CW’s hourlong pilot Light Years. The show is a family dramedy centered on a 15-year-old girl (Robertson) who, seeking emancipation after growing up in foster homes, tracks down her birth parents who had given her up for adoption when their one-night stand resulted in pregnancy. The girl connects with her mother, a morning radio show host with a fear of commitment, and father, an immature bar owner, and the trio form a modern-day “It Takes a Village”-type family. Gary Fleder is directing the project, which is produced by CBS TV after originating at ABC Studios. Robertson most recently co-starred on CBS’ Swingtown.
