BET Looking To Save The Game From Cancellation

The entire cast seems to be on board for a fourth season, and the only hold-up comes from CBS Paramount Network TV. BET is waiting to hear if it can acquire the rights to air new episodes. Earlier this year, BET acquired the off-network rights to run repeats of the show. The idea of BET stepping forward and saving The Game actually came from the show’s cast, which includes Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall and Wendy Raquel Robinson.

Yes Bet plz save this show, their are alot of talented actors an actress on this show an they all are very entertaining.. A lot of the story lines are really some real life situation I can relate to. It will be a blessing if BET picks up The Game and Everybody Hates Chris. There are no African American shows on the major networks. Now it seems as though the other networks like FOX, UPN, and CW are choosing not to air our shows as well. They think we do not watch TV. African Americans watch TV, read, operate large corporations, and now we run the country. :)))

OMG all my friends love the game it is like the best show in the world. I feal like i have become part of the show too. I laugh with them cry with espically when (Melnie and boyfriend Derwin brokeup). N besides you can’t just leve the show the way it ended that is just not fair to the ppl. I just wanted to agree with all the other comments, this is truly my favorite show. I watched the entire third season on youtube because at one time, BET, didnt air it. I really hope the rights are given to BET to air this show!
I hope BET is given the go ahead to air new shows of The Game for this fourth season. It would be great if BET can also pick up Everybody Hates Chris. This is how the networks do, the put on shows that have an mostly African American cast to get up their viewership, then once they have enough viewers, the axe the shows. Please BET, do your best to keep these shows alive:)
i really want the game to come back so i can know the drama thats going to come with the new baby derwin juggling to women mel and his baby mamma. and i think the game should have been on BET to begin with because it wouldnt be trying to get canceled if it was on there

this is some bullsh*t that i fell in love with the game when the CW cancelled it. i am really hoping that BET picks the show up. because of BET i was introduced to the show in the first place…however if Janae is gonna continue to ruin Melanie and Derwin’s relationship because of this baby situation i’d rather the show end like it did and stay cancelled so the couple can live happily ever after!

Please, please, please bring back The Game! I absolutely love this show and can’t wait from week to week to see the new episodes. I was really upset with the CW when they moved the show from it’s original air date (the beginning of the week) to Fridays at 9 pm! Who is even at home on Fridays to watch tv?! If you ask me that was a death sentence to the show. It seems as if they moved it on purpose to somehow justify canceling it when the ratings didn’t stand up to its other shows. Like everyone else said, there are hardly any good shows out there for the younger black geberation of tv watchers. Please BET, do us a favor and pick this show up. I promise you won’t be sorry!

I have been a faithful game watcher since the first episode. From monday till they changed it to friday nights. I loved it more and more each episode. I love every character. I feel lyk they were casted well. ESPECIALLY TEE TEE. I luhhhhh me some TEE TEE. BET doesn’t have the rep that they would lyk with the black community. But just about everyone I know tunes in for the game ever since they got it. I hope they git it. That we be a very good look and both parts.

This past Sunday, they showed “The Game” all day… I love it! I’ve been watching it for awhile now, but I finally caught up with all the missed episodes. The last episode, where Tia is knocking on the door, and Darwin’s ex just said that she is pregnant… is toooo frickin’ crazy!! I love it!!! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!

I love the entire cast, the story lines, the jokes, and the conversation. It’s a daggone shame everytime we get a new show for us they so quick to take away from us. The reason it lost it rating because the station kept switching the airing time. They did the same thing to “Everybody Hates Chris”. How bout from here on out BET & TV One should have all the copyrights and productions to these shows. Just cause others don’t want to see it doesn’t mean we don’t have a voice or a right to keep our t.v. sitcoms for us. Honestly me and my whole family love the game. My mother who is 40 watches it, I watch it and im 17, my 20 year old brother loves it, my 14 year old brother loves it and my 11 year old sister loves it. I think if BET picked up the game it would be good for their rating and seeing as how it already fits in with the other shows they air but happens to be 10X better, I don’t see why they wouldn’t

I LOVE THE GAME!!! This was not just a show this was true REALITY!! The problems that took place are REAL situations that we face ourselves. I just started watching the game when it came on bet and am dissapointed to hear that they CW cancelled it. I hope BET will pick it up all BET channel plays is videos all day, and old movies etc.. they really need to keep this show and listen to the viewers !! We need to support our people. THis show really showed you that the power of what love has w/ individuals especially MEL and DERWIN! I am a visual learner and they even showed me what love really love really is, through looking at there situation I was able realize that I was “in love” w/ my man!! it was so crazy but it really showed me some things. I like this show, if bet doesn’t pick up at lease it ended off happily!! MEl and DERWIN got married!!! YaaaY!!!
i think the Game was a token 2 real lyfe… it was alot of laughiter, sadness, love, passionate feeling, excitement, truthfulness, reality, etc…. the show showed me alot and ive learned so much behind it all… bring the show back on, dont take the truth about lyfe away….
ok i dont care what color you are but i have to one thing and thats please dont take the game of the air. its a really good show i love how they brought reality into the show you have the baby mama drama with mel and derwin and you have the the almost divored couple kelly and jason they dont know if they love or hate one another. which most people go through every day and i think thats what we need to see is reality and this show is the one that shows you that if you have hope and love in yout life that almost anything is possible. so i beg you bet please pick up this show i dont want to see it go. but if you must then make it a good ending like mel and derwin find out that the baby isnt really his and they get back together and jason and kelly work things out as for every one elsa have a happy ending as well.

OHG, I really hope that this show gets picked up by BET. I never really watched it until the ending and then when BET show’d reruns of the show. I find that this is one of the BEST Black show’s i have seen. It has alot of real situations that people can relate to. It made you happy, cry, angry, but it was so GREAT. The Game is the realest sitcom on right now. Please Please Please bring it back BET. I love this show. Its actually the only thing I watch on TV these days. I could sit and watch the reruns over and over and over again.
The Game is an awesome show, The net work(BET) please consider bringing the show back, this is a loved show by many. BET probably can see by the current ratings they are receiving now, I sit at the television on saturdays watching the re runs that being aired. The game also airs on Wednesday and I make sure I do not have anything to do on that night either. Last week Wednesday the show was on and I had to pick up my daughter from night school at 9:00 p.m. lets just say I was late because I was tuned into the show, on a commercial break I drove 70 MPH to pick her up and Yelled “Hurry up Hurry up get in the game is on” she jumped into the car and we burned rubber, we only missed a second of it. Please bring back the show!
I think CW made a HUGE mistake and that they lost a GREAT investment. The Game is a terrific show with great dialogue and humor. This series dealt with issues that people could/can relate to. Although I think the targeted audience was primarily FOR African Americans essentially it was for everyone. Hopefully, BET will appreciate THE GAME, sign them on and advertise them the way they SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!!
i really love this show when i first saw this show i fell in love with it…… this is a show that when your at work you cant wait to get off to go home and watch it… i feel the show would be better playing on BET. this show needs to come back because as i am reading i see that there are a lot of fans that really want it back as well!
They need to bring the game back on television…I believe on BET the show will do well…if the new episodes air like on Sun-Thursday evenings…I hope they reconsider…I belive and I cant wait….I really enjoyed that show..I believe the down fall is when they changed the air dates to friday nights..most people are not home on friday and saturday nights…They did the same thing with the Martin show..at first the showed it on a weekend date and then it went to sundays, then thursday evenings..and it worked great..BRING THE GAME BACK ON SUNDAY-THURSDAY…you already play repeats..and I am sure the ratings is very high….

Bringing back The Game will be greatly appreciated. I really liked the show because it was full of drama, yes drama. I think drama, suspense and love plots keeps us watching. The show was great, the characters were great, and I really enjoyed watching it. So, I hope BET picks up a new season. Give us something to look forward to everyday. Plus, I love Pooch Hall.
I agree that the CW always cancels any great african american show. Dumb shows like One Tree Hill that has been on for like a decade with both main characters gone, losing the most ratings because it is so dry and boring now, and even Vampire Slayers – a spin off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and many other dumb shows that talk about nothing other than sleeping around (Melrose Place) they sponsor. The Game was a great show. My husband and i watch all of the re-runs on BET. Although i am not sure how they would be able to come back from the third season finale, with Derwin having a baby, and how things have gotten serious, i still believe it is definitely worth a try. I love the show and hope BET can do something about bringing it back on with its original characters.
