ABC Pulls Cashmere Mafia From Schedule
November 6th, 2007 | 0 Comments | Email | Share | TweetVariety says ABC made the network’s first major strike-related scheduling change Monday morning, taking Cashmere Mafia off the schedule for now. Cashmere Mafia was set to launch November 27, after the final episode of Dancing with the Stars, before moving to its normal Tuesday slot the following week. Instead, the show will now remain off the schedule and be used if ABC needs more scripted originals later in the season. To replace the show, ABC will now move the two-hour Dancing With the Stars finale to 9 p.m. At 8 p.m., the network will run the holiday perennial A Charlie Brown Christmas. Cashmere Mafia stars Lucy Liu, Frances O’Connor, Miranda Otto and Bonnie Somerville as successful, driven women in New York City. Darren Star, Kevin Wade, Jeff Rake, Gail Katz and Michael Pressman are executive producers.
