ABC Picks Up Samantha Who For Almost A Full Season

Michael Ausiello is reporting that ABC has ordered seven additional episodes of the sophomore comedy, Samantha Who. This brings the number of episodes produced this season to 20. That’s two episodes shy of the traditional full season order. The network has so much midseason inventory, that includes new season of Scrubs and According To Jim, that it didn’t need the full 22 episode season order. So far this season Samantha Who has averaged 10.5 million viewers behind Dancing With the Stars. Although that’s down compared to last year, the show still wins its time slot among women 18-49.
