ABC Picks Up Nine Shows Including Daisies and Betty

ABC announced pickups for nine of its shows for next fall’s prime time schedule. The list includes several established shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters and Ugly Betty as well as freshman shows Dirty Sexy Money, Private Practice, Pushing Daisies and Samantha Who. “The strength of our schedule this fall was unprecedented and speaks for itself,” said Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment. “We’re looking forward to building on that success.”
