ABC Passes On Eli Stone, Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money
November 20th, 2008 | 0 Comments | Email | Share | TweetMichael Ausiello is reporting that ABC has opted not to order additional episodes of Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money for this season. The network isn’t commenting, but sources confirm that all three shows have “effectively been canceled.” All three will complete production on their 13-episode orders (Pushing Daisies already has, while Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money have an episode or two to go). Completing the episodes is no guarantee that ABC will air the remaining episodes. “It’s all true,” Daisies creator Bryan Fuller said. “I’m so very proud of this show and grateful for everyone’s hard work in bringing it to life.”
ABC had great shows with Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies and they cancel them. Yet they keep garbage like Private Practice and Life On Mars. I really don’t know what else to say, television executives wouldn’t know a good show if it came up and bit them in the rear.
Thanks ABC for canceling some really good and unique shows. Give us more reality garbage or more Dancing With The Stars, that’s really what your viewers want. It’s good to know ABC programs for the lowest common denominator.
