ABC Family Picks Up 10 More Episodes Of 10 Things

ABC Family has picked up the back 10 episodes of 10 Things I Hate About You’s first season. According to show runner Carter Covington, those episodes are likely to premiere beginning in January 2010. Covington says the second half of the first season is going to get even more sophisticated as the rivalry between Bianca and Chastity (Dana Davis) turns openly political. We’ll get an “unexpected history of Patrick Verona” in the episodes to come.

10 Things, based on the 1999 movie of the same name and on Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew, follows the Stratford sisters (Lindsey Shaw and Meaghan Martin) as they navigate high school and young romance. Gregory Peck’s grandson Ethan Peck plays Kat’s love interest, sexy motorcycle-riding loner Patrick Verona.
