ABC Family has acquired the final season of Gilmore Girls. The network landed the seventh season in a deal with Warner Brothers Domestic TV Distribution and now has rights to all 153 episodes of the series. The final season is set to be rebroadcast on ABC Family in June. Gilmore Girls, which launched in 2000 and ran until May 2007, aired on the WB and CW. Many critics championed the show but it never received an Emmy nomination. The series, created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and exec produced by David Rosenthal, starred Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel.
