Ted Danson is staying on cable with a lead role in HBO’s comedy pilot Bored to Death says The Hollywood Reporter. The show stars Jason Schwartzman as a struggling Brooklyn writer with a drinking problem who pretends to be a private detective in the vein of his heroes from Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett novels. Danson will play Jonathan’s friend and quasi-mentor, a pompous but articulate magazine editor.

John Patrick Amedori has been cast as Aaron Rose says Kristin@E!Online. Rose was a major character in the Gossip Girl book series. He’s an artist who will serve as a new love interest for Serena in the current second season, and he has a philanthropic side which gets her all aflutter.
Willa Holland has signed to come on the series for three episodes. She’ll play Agnes, a 16-year-old model who meets Jenny while working for Blair’s badass fashion designer mother, Eleanor Waldorf, and is anything but a good influence.

The seventh and final season begins tonight, Terry Crowley’s name continues to surface, even this many years since the pilot episode. Vic Mackey and Councilman Aceveda have a box of blackmail files for some of the most powerful people in Los Angeles and California. No one knows they have it, and they know it’s the key to both their futures.
Meanwhile Shane is still picking up the pieces with Vic and his wife about spilling the beans to the Armenians about the Strike Team’s role is stealing the money train cash. When Shane arrives home, he finds his wife bound and gagged.
